Ron has given speeches on trends in senior housing and care financing options, corporate governance, capital and operational benchmarking, and regulatory issues. He has written or been quoted in articles pertaining to Senior Housing and Care in Forbes Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, The Florida Bar, The Orlando Business Journal, and the Florida Association of Homes for the Aging’s Voice. Ron has made presentations to the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), Florida Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (FAHA), American Accociation of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA), and the Florida Retirement Housing Council. Ron has been an active member of FAHA’s CCRC Policy Committee, the Retirement Housing Council’s Board of Directors, the FICPA's Health Care Industry Committee, the American Senior Housing Association and the Georgia Association of Homes for the Aging.

Ron holds a B.A. from Kent State University and a M.S. in Accounting from the University of Central Florida. He is member of the AICPA and FICPA.
