Moore Stephens Lovelace Elects
Two New Principals
ORLANDO, FL – January 11, 2006 – Moore Stephens Lovelace, P.A. (MSL),
a certified public accounting and business management firm with
offices throughout Florida, announces the election of two new
principals in the Firm. Effective January 1, 2006, Managers Derrick
Lomas and DeDe Nichols were inducted into the Principal Program, a
three-year program for future shareholders of the Firm.
Derrick Lomas, CPA, has been with the Firm since December of 2000.
He is a member of the Firm’s Public Sector Practice Group. Derrick
has over 15 years of experience in public accounting and primarily
serves clients in the healthcare and not-for-profit industries. He
provides auditing and advisory services to entities receiving
governmental and state grant funding. Derrick received a bachelors
in business administration degree in Accounting and Management
Information Systems from the University of North Florida. Derrick is
affiliated with the following organizations: American Institute of
Certified Public Accountants; Florida Institute of Certified Public
Accountants; Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants; AICPA
Governmental Audit Quality Center; Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce;
Economic Opportunity Family Health Center; and the B.A.C. Funding
Corporation.
DeDe Nichols has been with the Firm since December of 1997. She is
a member of the Firm’s Senior Housing and Skilled Nursing Facility
Practice Groups. DeDe has over 10 years of experience in public
accounting and has specialized experience serving clients in the
healthcare industry in the states of Florida, Georgia and Alabama.
She received a bachelors degree in accounting from Georgia
Southwestern State University. DeDe is affiliated with the following
organizations: Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants;
Florida Health Care Association; Florida Association of Homes for the
Aging; Florida Assisted Living Affiliation; Georgia Health Care
Association; and Georgia Association of Homes and Services for the
Aging.
