Since day one, the staff of the Center for Reproductive Health as well as Dr. Vasquez have shown us nothing less than a truly professional support and love. For six months under their care, many visits, and all the phone calls, we never doubted the process and followed their guidance to the "T." For that Casey and I can thank them for a real blessing from God. Our son Aidan Dean Stephens was born at 7:59am on May 10, 2006. He weighed 7 lbs. 10 ozs. And was 19.5 inches long. Dr. Vasquez is a great person as well. I was laid off two weeks prior to Aidan's birth. I am currently enrolled at the University of North Alabama to earn a degree in Secondary Education. I had to give a speech in my speech class, and Dr. Vasquez supplied me with all the information I needed for a speech about IVF. Not only do I consider him a great doctor, but a great man and friend.
His staff is also a group of exceptional, loving people. They supported
us through every aspect of the procedure. I never heard any one of them
speak negatively
For all you women scared of shots! Don't be, if my wife can handle me giving her two shots a day, all of you can handle it. For all you dads to be's who doubt IVF and aren't there to support your wife, shame on you. The chance is worth the time and the bond you have with your wife will only bring you closer together. Finally, money! I was asked about the cost of the procedure after my speech. My answer, "How can you or I put a price on what sleeps next to my side every night." I can't wait for the next time we try IVF again. I hope it will be soon. |
